(Required Workshop for members who want to direct/ produce their own 'film projects' through NB Film Co-op)

The Assistant Camera (AC) position is one of the most important roles on a film set. This workshop will show participants the tools used by the AC, and the procedures undertaken including: magazine loading, focus pulling, building the camera, slating procedure, the all important camera reports etc.

INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Michel Guitard is a prolific young filmmaker, cameraman & editor who has worked on over 90 productions through and outside the NB Film Co-op in different crew positions from the age of 10 to 19 years old. He has done three of his own films; one of them, a Short Film Venture film entitled “Simon Hunter.”

Michel is the Technical Director at the NB Film Co-op.
