-Cat is working on her most recent video poem Life Signs.
Tony was born 1959 in the port city of Saint John. He has been the Executive Director of the NB Film Co-op now for over 24 years and is a professional cinematography and teacher. Tony graduated with high honours from St. Malachy’s High in Saint John, made the Dean’s list in business administration at University of New Brunswick, Saint John and completed his MBA at St. Mary’s University. He then came back to New Brunswick where he began to volunteer with the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-op in Fredericton.
Tony has personally contributed to more than 150 films, including 5 which he wrote and directed himself. The Man Who Skied Citadel Hill and Natural Remedy have traveled both Canadian and international film festivals and his most recent works are the historical drama Francis Sherman: When All Is Said and Done and the documentaries: Ciao Montelibretti and Gruff and Ready: The Mazzuca’s Story.
Cathie has been Membership Services at the NB Film Co-op for 15 years. She assists members with their film/video productions from development to distribution with grant writing thrown in for good measure. She coordinates the annual provincial workshop program through the Film Co-op, is involved in the Short Film Venture Program with partner New Brunswick Film, is
co-lead for programming, events and finance for the Silver Wave Film Festival and sits on the board of directors for the Linda Joy Media Arts Society based in Halifax and Gallery Connexion in Fredericton.
