New Brunswick Filmmakers' Co-operative

The New Brunswick Filmmakers' Co-operative is a non-profit, charitable organization involved in the production of 16mm and digital films. Founded in 1979, the Co-op continues to serve as a fully equipped film/video training centre open to anyone who is at least 16 years of age and interested in developing skills in film/video production. The Co-op provides broad-ranging support including: workshops/training, creative support and mentoring, grant writing assistance, equipment , human resources, socials, informal writer/director/actor labs. It also presents diverse quality films and videos through its annual provincial Film Festival.

New Brunswick Film

New Brunswick Film is the Province of New Brunswick agency responsible for promoting and supporting the development of an economically viable and vibrant film and television production industry. This is done in part by ensuring continuing production of quality New Brunswick films, providing opportunities for New Brunswick residents working in the New Brunswick  film and television industry to broaden their skills and employment opportunities, and increasing the international visibility of New Brunswick. 

NB Film provides services and support to the film and television industry in the province in the form of financial assistance and training and professional development for New Brunswick residents as well as tax credits, location scouting consultation and other services for outside production companies.
