THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE NB ACTOR - CALL FOR INFORMATION

Being an actor is not easy, there are many ups and downs along with the creative rewards.

The Film Co-op is putting a call out to all actors in New Brunswick (must be living here please most of the year for this project as it is specific to New Brunswick actors and their challenges in NB)  for the following:

Your personal stories (written articles) from the actor's point of view or tips, strategies, specific things that have happened to you to strengthen your acting craft over time (whether you are a newbie, mid-career or experienced).

Perhaps you have a New Brunswick actor or actor from outside who inspired you to get into acting to study the craft or you have studied acting and have stories and skills you want to share with everybody.

The Film Co-op will pick so many submissions and profile them in the Film Co-op e-news ongoing.

It’s a great chance for the Film Co-op to outreach and include more actors in it’s community and actor’s database and a great opportunity for NB actors to know more about each other and share it with others in the arts and the general public.

You can email your articles and updates to Cat at: info@nbfilmcoop.com and Film Co-op member actor Tyler Hanley, who is helping the Film Co-op with this project will contact you to talk to you more and perhaps even interview you.

The Film Co-op can’t promise to profile everything submitted in the case that we receive a great volume of responses but we will try.

PROFILE ON RENEWED MEMBER: PETER EVANCHUCK

Hi CAT/TONY,

Hope all is well. I'm renewing my Film Co-op membership and Helene Lacelle will join as well.

Just beautiful out here in ChippyLAND's winter wonderland in NB. I put out the black oil bird feeders - getting a whack of birdies - also put out some suet/bread and getting crows & Jays on that - oh yeah got a couple red and grey squirrels as well. Renos/upgrades coming along well at my home here in the Grandlake/Salmon river area - will invite you for a meal/drinks soon should have it all done by late spring.

I finished the arctic documentary (shot mostly in NB) and am now working on 2 others.

My feature script is finished and I’m prepping to shoot here in NB hopefully summer/fall 2012. and so on. The Cancer is still with me and slows me down but c'est la vie - just been thru a whack of scans/tests at the cancer section of Ottawa's General hospital very diligent & competent.
