Learn about the process of becoming a careered producer through the experiences of the instructor. Greg Hemmings has produced independent documentaries, corporate videos, music videos and concerts for years. Now he is putting all of his efforts into licensing his productions globally, producing series television, and producing high level commercial and corporate productions. The journey from an independent film maker to a careered producer has been a wild ride of ups and downs, with wins and MANY loses and mistakes.
Greg will share his experiences, adventures, accomplishments and mistakes.In this workshop, the attendees will share and discuss a number of topics that Greg has learned through experiences using real project examples.This workshop is more of a "shared experiences" session than anything else. This workshop is intended for the serious up and coming producer who is ready to make the next step and make a career out of producing. Bring your experiences with you to share!
INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
A graduate of Niagara College's Television and Film Production course in 1999, Greg Hemmings is an adventurous independent producer who has lived a life in production that has taken him literally around the world documenting topics that he is passionate about.
Greg is the president of Hemmings House Pictures in Saint John. Hemmings House produces corporate & commercial video, music videos, concerts, documentaries, and television series'. Greg's recent TV series Wrestling Reality has become a Canadian cult favorite and is going into 2nd season in the spring.
