A hands-on workshop for anyone interested in learning how to create props and specialty items for film and video productions.

The instructor will discuss how to research and make--- with hands-on examples---signage; books and magazine covers; newspaper stories with photos; cigarette packages; beer, beverage, food, and medication labels and packages; IDs cards; and much more!

INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Joe Blades is a writer–artist living in Fredericton. With a 30 years experience in the arts, he is author of six poetry collections, including River Suite and from the book that doesn’t close.

Blades has worked—mainly in the art department—on about 20 short film and television projects in the past two years including Venus in Flames, A Saturday Affair, When All is Said and Done: Francis Sherman, Super Geek Math Boy, and A Dark Radius.
