THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL

Learn the basics of digital sound editing. The participants will set up a sound edit session, import audio from a variety of sources, edit, add sound effects and sync to a video source with time code, and basic mixing.

This workshop will cover the necessary technical terms and sound post-production concepts to getting started with hands-on instruction. It will familiarize participants with the correct approach to digital sound editing.

INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Rob graduated from the Centre for Arts and Technology from the Recording Arts Foundation program in 2004. He completed his B.A. degree in History with a Film Certificate at U.N.B in 2008.

A Film Co-op member since 2006, Rob has worked as location sound recorder/mixer and sound editor on projects such as Joel Thompson's Ugly, and Britany Sparrow's The Morning After as well as a number of upcoming projects that hope to appear in the 2010 Silver Wave Film Festival. Rob also works as a digital archivist for the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, and freelancer recorder for Atlantic Mediaworks and other independent filmmakers.
