Using a combination of presentation, discussion and practical exercises, the workshop will cover basic script-writing, budget preparation, pre-production, production and post, with particular attention to directing and producing. What are potential production issues in a script? How should you conduct a casting session? What are the various crew positions? How do you set the tone for your crew during production? This workshop is especially useful for those who are interested in writing, producing and directing their own material.
INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Chris is currently working on some new film projects for 2010, one of which may or may not include a crazy song-and-dance sequence or two. When not working on his own projects, Chris does crew work on other NB Film Co-op members’ films, as well as offering script support and critique.
