SPOTLIGHT ON THE NBFC STAFF - CHRISTINA WOOD
Farewell But Not Goodbye
The time has come for me to leave my job position at the NB Film Co-op. Since late February of 2005, I've been on a special grant working on various projects for Tony and Cat and to say that this has been a positive experience would be the understatement of the century! When I first chose the NB Film Co-op to work at, I had very little knowledge of what goes on here. I had met a member or two in passing and was briefly told it was a place to utilize video and film equipment, attend workshops, meet creative people, get help with funding...etc..

While all these things are true, there is SO much more to this wonderful place. From moment one I knew I was probably the luckiest person in New Brunswick to be able to work in such a great environment. Over the year and some odd months I've worked here, I've met such kind, interesting and inspirational people, and of course and especially, Tony Merzetti and Cat Leblanc.

They took me in like family and made me feel like I belonged, and I'll never forget that. Think of it! How many places are you going to be employed at in your life where your bosses not only support you financially, but emotionally, and spiritually? Click Here for the rest of Christina's story!
