"THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT" FEATURED IN HERE!

Check for an article that NBFC member Jim Lavoie did on TDMI (They Didn't Make It) featured in HERE. The article deals with the wrap of the film and is set as a narrative between Jim and those who would doubt that a no-budget feature film could be shot in Fredericton with an all volunteer crew and cast of co-op members and others.

Copies are available all around Fredericton and are free. It is also available on line at www.herenb.com

As well, Jim has written a wrap up article for "inside The North side News" which should be included with the Nov 18th edition of the Daily Gleaner.

SPOTLIGHT!

On 2006 Silver Wave Filmmaker Guests

By Geneviève Godin

I'm just back from the Silver Wave Film Festival to my life in BANFF. My experience at the Silver Wave Festival was a really good one for me. I am very glad to have also initiated some of my Fredericton friends going to Silver Wave as well.

I can say that my body and my head are in Alberta, but my heart is still in Fredericton! That is why I hope to see you sooner than later. For now, I would like to thank you very much for everything.

I would particularly like to thank Cat Leblanc, Tony Merzetti, John Christenson, Gia Milani, Tony Whalen, Mike Cowie and Brigitte Noel for your fantastic personalities and attitudes that made me feel really good about being a filmmaker guest at Silver Wave. You are the people I talked to the most and had the most direct contact with and you were all so friendly and helpful.

Here is a picture I took of the front of the Charlottte Street Arts Centre, during the night of my film screening (Dualité) in the French Program on November 9th. This was a really memorable moment for me.

I hope to see you all in the near future, Genevieve Godin, 2006 Silver Wave Filmmaker guest
