INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Chafic has been a member of the NB Film Co-op since 2006 and has worked in various crew positions on 4 shoots. He made his acting debut on Joel Thompson's "They Didn't Make It" and shortly after landed a lead role on Colin Smart's "Temple of the Saphire Moon". Chafic is currently preparing to direct and produce his first short film. After attending a new media workshop hosted by Chris Campbell in 2006, Chafic began researching how new media has impacted "old media" and has followed many trends in self publishing short films and videos.

Currently Chafic is promoting open source technologies and is attempting to help create an online community of artists who promote Creative Commons ideals as well as information sharing within the Fredericton area.

Chafic currently works as a researcher and systems administrator for FOG Studios and is part owner of Civic Fidelity: http://www.ci-fi.net
