(Film Co-op Members are required to take at least one screenwriting course before they direct/produce their own projects through the Film Co-op)

Using a balance of lecture, exercise, and feedback on work from the instructor and classmates, this course gives students a firm grounding in all the basics of screenwriting. Everything is presented in a clear, accessible manner.

INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Tony Sekulich is an alumni member screenwriter at the NB Film Co-op who has written for both film and television. He graduated from the Canadian Film Centre’s Professional Screenwriting Programme in 2002. Since then, Tony was hired to adapt the best selling non-fiction book Blue Trust into a feature script. He has also written for the CTV half hour series Robson Arms.

Tony also taught a workshop about adaptation at the Northrop Frye international Literary Festival. Tony currently lives and works in Fredericton and Toronto.
