Using a balance of lecture, exercise, and feedback on work from the instructor and classmates, this course gives students a firm grounding in all the basics of screenwriting. Everything is presented in a clear, accessible manner.

INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Tony is a screenwriter and producer who has been writing and shooting films for more than 15 years now. Tony is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Profession Screenwrirting Program and has written for both film and television.Tony's experience includes writing a Gemini Award winning episode of CTV's Robson Arms as well as adapting the best selling Stevie Cameron book Blue Trust into a feature script. Tony has optioned original feature length screenplays to producers such as Sam Grana (The Boys of St. Vincent) and Elizabeth Yake (It's All Gone Pete Tong)
Most recently Tony is serving as a co-founder and Vice-President Creative Development for Azure Sky Films. In this capacity he is co-producing and writing a feature film project Dan vs Darwin. This project is currently in formal development with Telefilm Canada and NB Film.
