(Film Co-op Members are required to take at least one screenwriting course before they direct/produce their own projects through the Film Co-op)

This screenwriting workshop takes a different approach and will not provide you with a format, ahem, template for creating unorthodox screenplays. This is exactly what the workshop is about: getting away from these rules that bogged down many great aspiring and established screenwriters with details, plot points, reversals, camera angles etc etc....
Remember to learn the rules before you break them though!
INSTRUCTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Tim Rayne joined the NB Film Co-op in 1998 and has worked on independent and commercial film productions and learned theoretical film concepts in graduate classes in film studies at Carleton University. Tim directed and wrote his own films including Hopewell (Short Venture Program), Natural Remedy with co-director and co-writer Tony Merzetti (2001), and Soup Du Jour (1999). Tim has also taught directing workshops at the NB Filmmakers' Co-operative and will be shooting his latest film Songbird in February (NB Joy Award Winner).
