FREDERICTON 48 HOUR FILM COMPETITION
The NB Film Co-op is a long time supporter of the Fredericton 48 Hour Film Competition. The competition takes place over the course of 48 consecutive hours starting on Friday evening. One member from every group must be present at the kickoff to receive their inspiration packages, but you are encouraged to bring your whole team to the event. In the event that the Competition is held online, all inspiration packages will be e-mailed to the team captains at the same time.
Your team has 48 hours from the moment you are given your inspiration package to complete your film.
Pink Lobster Film Festival
Pink Lobster Film Festival
The NB Film Co-op is a long time supporter of the Pink Lobster Film Festival. The festival screens a selection of short and feature length films with LGBTQIA+ themes produced around the world. Films previously screened include those from India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Sweden, as well as several other countries. The festival screens both features & shorts by local & international filmmakers.
The Pink Lobster Film Festival had its first run in February of 2017.

New Brunswick Short Films Screening before each Feature Film for Under the Stars 2025. The Films begin at dusk each Friday.
